Praying for our nation means the focus of our prayers may change as events unfold.

Core Values

  • To hold regular meetings for women, essentially to pray for the nation.
  • To empower women to hear God on how they can influence their local communities.
  • To establish similar groups in other areas of the country.
  • We aim to financially support groups that are involved in social action, particularly those working with the poor and dispossessed.
  • We believe in the transforming power of God.
  • We depend on the Holy Spirit of God to lead and guide us when we pray, and believe he moves through prayer.

When I became a Christian I was led to the Lord and taught to read my bible daily and pray every day.

I believe that Britain needs prayer that’s why Heart Cry for Britain began.

Believing in the power of prayer, prayer brings God into our lives, hearts, situations, and also into everything do and every person we pray for.

The Minister and his Wife who helped me were Godly praying people, who trusted God for and in everything; they were missionaries returned from Africa to serve God. They had friends who were strong in prayer, heard God and moved in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. God provided for them in miraculous ways.

I  have seen much happen through the power of prayer, and still do; also believe that God is calling us women to come together to see change as we pray for our families, and situations that we are finding ourselves in, and developments in our Nation.

First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people, for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way.

To get Nations back on their feet, we must first get down on our knees.

Billy Graham

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable about a persistent widow to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Luke 18v 1-2

God wants us to pray and not lose heart... Jesus asks, when returns will He find faith on the earth?

Let’s encourage one another so faith is built strong in our hearts, believing God hears us when we pray together in unity to Him.

Verse of the Day

Ephesians 1:18

And that having the eyes of your heart full of light, you may have knowledge of what is the hope of his purpose, what is the wealth of the glory of his heritage in the saints,

Mother Barbara

An extract from the 1911 prophecy by Mother Barbara.

“Tell the women they must belong absolutely to God. They must believe in the great things that are happening that God is doing on the earth. They must prepare their souls, their children and their husbands. And they will have very much work to do for God. Oh, what a great work the women will have to do in the end time, and the men will follow them. Not one country will be without trial – do not be frightened of anything you will hear.

Britain will lose her empire and all her colonies and will come to almost total ruin, but will be saved through praying women.”
